News About Men's Belts Wearing

1. Color

The belt should match your shoes. Black shoes need a black belt, brown shoes need a brown belt. The colors in each brown tone should be matched with their respective tones and light browns, or they can be matched directly with light browns. Brown tones include chocolate brown, brown and dark purple, while light brown combinations include light brown with light brown and tan with tan. In the case of casual fiber belts, the color should be determined by the leather color of the garment.

2. Fabric

A belt should only be worn with a business suit or a mix and match outfit. A woven belt can also be worn with a blazer or summer suit, while a belt made from a fabric such as striped canvas can be worn with sweatpants such as denim or jeans.

3. Length, width and thickness

Most belts have five holes. Ideally, the buckle fork should be through the middle or third hole before a business meal. The principle of belt width and thickness is: narrow and thin for formal, wide and thick for casual. A belt should be 1 to 2.5 inches wide when worn with a dark suit, and about 1.5 inches wide for a casual style.

4. Buckle

The belt buckle (solid brass or international silver) must match the metal on your watch, jewelry or accessories. Gold brass straps should be worn with gold links or watches, while silver straps should be worn with tight stainless steel watches and platinum links.

The belt buckle must also match the Munk buckle. The design principle is: the more subtle and the more oppressive the design, the more formal it is. Use caution when wearing buckles with logos or designs.

5. The occasion of wearing a belt

It can be worn with any suit. The belt should not be worn with a tuxedo or morning coat (one of several types of tuxedo or morning coat with straps that men might wear), but it has become widely accepted to wear it with a tuxedo.
